So I forgot about Thanksgiving. We celebrated it at our neighbor's house and Paige was sick the whole night before so she had her dinner in quarantine at our house. She was such a great sport and wasn't really able to enjoy the food until the next day. Poor Paige. Why is it that one of our kids is always sick on Thanksgiving?

That weekend we took a trip up to Austin. We loved the city but it was unexpectedly chilly and rainy. We had a great time regardless and exjoyed some really awesome tacos, a beautful nature walk in a park, the state capital, and a great pit barbeque dinner. You gotta love road trips!
When we arrived there, we happened upon the city Christmas parade. It was awesome. The kids loved it!
If you come to visit us, Austin is a place we ought to go visit. It was really fun being a family on our mini road trip!
